Memory, Skills, and Runs
The systems that allow Ara to improve over time.
Ara’s loop relies on several systems that allow it to remember past work and improve future runs.
Memory
Ara remembers what it has shipped and what it learned during each run. This memory helps it build a deeper understanding of your codebase over time.
Skills
When Ara completes a task, it keeps the method it used as a skill. These skills make future runs more effective because Ara can reuse approaches that worked previously.
Hermes Cron
Ara can schedule work through Hermes Cron, allowing tasks to run automatically in the background.
This scheduling capability ensures the improvement loop continues even when you are not actively interacting with Ara.
Mac computer use
Ara can operate across environments on a Mac, including interacting with files, the browser, and the terminal as part of completing a run.
Together, these systems allow Ara to compound improvements over time.
